The Battery Control Unit (BCU) is the central controller and management module for BYD's HVB, HVS+, and HVM+ series high-voltage battery systems. It is responsible for coordinating all battery modules and managing their operation within the system.

📊 Control and Monitoring: The BCU monitors battery charging and discharging, cell balancing, state of energy (SOC), and protects the system from overloads.

🔌 Inverter Communication: Enables communication with the inverter or control system via standardized interfaces (CAN, RS485, RJ45).

⚠️ Protection: Manages protection against overvoltage/undervoltage, overtemperature, and overloads.

This BCU is compatible with the new BYD high-voltage battery systems:

⚡ HVB (High Voltage Blade Series)

⚡ HVS+ (upgraded HVS modules)

⚡ HVM+ (upgraded HVM modules)
Note: Not compatible with previous (old) HVS/HVM series without the "+" sign.
