How does the solar calculator work?
The calculator analyses your roof via satellite imagery and identifies south-facing usable area (orientation 135°–225°). Based on this area, the optimal number of solar panels is calculated.
Calculation basis: panel output 450 W, panel area 2.15 m², usable area factor 75 %, tilt angle 30°, average solar irradiance 1 100 kWh/m²/year (German average). Source: PVGIS / Fraunhofer ISE.
Results are indicative estimates. Actual yield depends on shading, roof pitch, module quality and regional solar irradiance.
